Installing GEORGE Firmware Update on Windows XP
(part 1)
This installation guide will walk you through the steps of updating your GEORGE.
Lets begin:
If you have not yet downloaded the George Update Assistant click here
Driver Installation
Step 1
Double click the "George Update Assistant" package
After the folder opens, double click the "Setup" icon
Select "Run"

Click "Next" after the welcome screen appears

Select "Everyone" and click "Next"

Click "Next" to start the installation

Click "Close" to exit after the installation is complete

Make sure the GEORGE remote is docked and that GEORGE is not
connected to the computer
Note: Make sure the iPod is removed from GEORGE and no other audio is playing.

Double click the "George Driver Installer" icon

Click "Next" after the welcome screen appears

When the installer warns that the driver has not passed Windows Logo testing, click the "Continue Anyway" button.

Click "Finish" after the installation is compeleted successfully

Plug the USB cable from GEORGE to the computer

When "Found New Hardware Wizard" starts, select "No, not this time" and click "Next"

Select the "Install the software automatically" option and click "Next"

When the installer warns that the driver has not passed Windows Logo testing, click the "Continue Anyway" button

Click "Finish" after the installation is complete

Please note: In some cases windows may generate an error by prompting a "USB Device Not Recognized" message. If this happens, restart your GEORGE, and than proceed to Step 10.

Double click on the "George Assistant" icon on your desktop.
